Baby Steppes

Created over the course of my two years as a Fulbright ETA, Baby Steppes explores the history of the steppe, the modern culture of Central Asia, and my own experiences as an American living in Uzbekistan.

I publish Baby Steppes in two forms:

in long-form essays on Substack,

and as short-form videos on Tiktok, where I have 140,000 subscribers and 10.8 million likes.

As Director of Media for the student programming board at the University of Nebraska at Omaha I coordinated, photographed, and filmed events. I also created and published promotional materials and graphics for the 15,000+ student body.

Love Campus

I edited this quarantine-inspired, fully online university dating show with over 50,000 followers (Youtube, Tiktok, Instagram).

Ottilie.edu

A passion project that I started while taking non-credit classes in university, Ottilie.edu is a science education channel on Tiktok that spans topics from fire education to ancient art history. It has 111,100 followers and 6 million likes, and I’ve collaborated with prominent content creators.
